New Aluminium Decks for a 100-metre Yacht

Construction of two new aluminium decks for mega-yacht lengthening. The customer has requested the construction of two new aluminium decks for the lengthening of a mega yacht. The lengthening starts with the demolition of the old iron decks; the light alloy blocks are built and assembled in the shops and, finally, the new aluminium decks are placed aboard and are connected to the old iron parts.

 

Chain Chutes

Construction of stainless steel chain chutes for a 140-metre vessel.

 

Stabiliser

Construction of an stabiliser as per drawing.

 

Platform for satellite balloon

Platform for the installation of a satellite balloon with perimeter walkway. The structure, once fitted aboard, has been completed with a grey GRP grating.

 

Aluminium Gangway

Light alloy gangway as per drawing.

 

Stainless Steel Tank

Stainless steel tank complete with iron stiffeners, manholes and flanged couplings. The container has been subjected to a pressure test before being delivered.

 

Aluminium Mast

Light alloy mast complete with instrument holding plates and topmast for antennas and lights. The specification requested that the structure could be inspected from inside, to allow performing the maintenance of the electric parts associated with the instruments. The platforms have been fitted with a bottom hatch for the maintenance of navigational equipment.

Aft Swim Platform

Construction of an aft swim platform, to be applied to an iron hull. The new structure is built and assembled in the shop, then it is placed aboard and connected to the existing structure.

 

Swimming Pool Structure

Construction of a swimming pool structure: the customer requested a satin-finished stainless steel structure for the installation of pool water containment panes. The length of the “glass wall” has been divided into blocks, so as to be able to fit columns equipped with guides for the installation of the panes. The structure is completed with seals and guides and, finally, is embedded in place.
